Marcha Fox’s, “Whobeda’s Guide to Basic Astrology” is a thorough read for those interested in their astrological sign, not to mention those who want to properly blame the planets within our galaxy that may have provided a helping hand when life takes an ugly turn. From beginner to knowledgeable, there’s something for everyone within Fox’s work, and enough research to fully flesh out our personalities and put everyone in the “know” for not only reference but for fun.

Full of information and detailed descriptions, Fox’s work takes into consideration the fact that many people may only be familiar with just a sampling of the zodiac, namely their own signs, and builds upon that simple knowledge to create a very in-depth approach to astrology and astronomy. Adding in the special touch of her own personal run-ins with other signs and what data she has collected through the years on how signs are influenced, their pros and cons, helps newer readers relate and understand the spinning cosmos of shifting pushes and pulls we are under the control of right above our heads.

Whobeda’s Guide to Basic Astrology may start off introducing the signs of the zodiac, but it quickly begins to add and build upon the foundation Fox begins her work with including our signs and their interactions with not only the planets without our solar system but also how we interact with other signs during our daily lives. Once readers become more knowledgeable about the basics, we are introduced to the houses of the zodiac, how each sign is defined, and even how charts are made while understanding how retrograde planets and phases of the moon even help steer us in our decision-making processes.

Throughout Fox’s book, there is no shortage of information that will force readers to compare and contrast what they know, and what they want to know about others. It is these simple additions to the wide knowledge base presented that draws readers in and keep them interested. The addition of love compatibility, tips for guys dealing with specific female signs, parenting tips, career choices, and even favorable diets for each sign prove that Fox has done her homework and wants you to partake in the experience as well. These fantastic bonuses throughout the book joyfully alert readers to the fact that knowing your sign is only the first step to knowing the inner you and everyone around you.

For those just wanting basic information on their signs and other signs of the zodiac, Whobeda’s Guide to Basic Astrology will not disappoint. For those seeking greater knowledge on the inner and outer workings in play concerning our drives, flaws, passions, and needs, this book will quickly become a cherished addition to your bookshelf as its information and references will always come in handy, especially when the cosmos above our heads feels like its spinning out of control and taking us right along with it. Highly recommended.
